Growing to meet your needs

St. Francis Hospital – Mooresville is changing the community’s view of health care as it completes the campus’ largest-ever expansion, growing from 258,000 to nearly 400,000 square feet. This $42 million project includes new and modern inpatient units and high-tech surgery suites, as well as many amenities to enhance patient and visitor comfort and promote healing.

Today’s private patient suites are fully equipped with many modern conveniences—two flat-screen televisions, a sofa bed for a family member, desk and wireless Internet connection. The new coffee bar and gift shop provide visitors a relaxing break. Bedside charting, wireless communication technology and patient care services all improve caregiver communication and efficiency.

This state-of-the-art facility features cutting-edge technology, including a high-tech video and photography system in every operating room, giving our medical staff the ability to better serve and heal patients.

Founded in 1881, St. Francis Hospital—Mooresville has come a long way in expanding the services it offers. Originally built as a sanitarium for the treatment of colon and rectal disorders, St. Francis Hospital—Mooresville since has established itself as a nationally renowned center for not only colorectal care, but for joint replacements as well.  This fall, it completes the transition to a full-service hospital with the introduction of a new Emergency Department.
